V. Old Business

   A. Student poster session:

      1. It was moved to hold the student poster session once a year
at the ACA summer conference instead of twice a year (approved
         by consesus

         with recognition for their contributions.

   B. SAC Marketing and publicity: Action deferred until Chicago,
but Rich, Eric and Jim will try to contact area schools

SAC members to reach out to other schools across the country.

VI. New Business

    A. 2010 Summer Conference (Chicago): Jim and Eric are on the local
Host Committee and will try to enhance a student presence on
       the committee

    B. CAMA Conference: Jim announced that CAMA was actively reaching
out to students to integrate the ethos of "understanding
corrections begins with understanding standards," and explore
ways to integrate this ethos into college classes as a
way to expand students' experience for employment, internships,
and other activities relevant to the issues. Jim and David
Taylor (Director of CAMA) published several pieces for CAMA's
newsetter (posted on the acastudents.org homepage as well)

activities) and bring the ideas to the summer conference.

    F. SAC Alumni Status (proposed by Barbara Zaitzow): Find ways to
integrate former memebers of student chapters into ACA
conferences. Supported in principle, but deferred until
Chicago meeting to work out details.
