Who's Who(m) Working hard is what NIU-ACA is all about, and here we are working hard. Mike, Blair, Amy, and Brianna are discussing the pros and cons of private prisons, while James and Josh are listening intently. Aimie, of course, is listening intently to Steve's theory of postmodernist neo-deconstructionist revisionist interpretation of Foucault's panopticon, while Veronica and Esmeralda and wondering what on earth they're talking about (as are we!). But, Steve has yet to convince Aimie that Foucault had anything interesting to say. Meanwhile, the big finale, the drawing for the free ACA memeberships begins, and James draws the two lucky winners, Esmeralda and Krysta take home the big prize. (Jim has yet to master the digital camera, and the flash reflects the excitement in everybody's eyes). Aimie, Steve and Krysta continue to struggle over whether Foucualt is more relevant than Jeremy Bentham, while Amy and James decide that criminal justice is a fun major after all (That's Josh on the right, barely visible because he's still celebrating the Bear's third win in a row). But, Josh calms down long enough to watch Lauren, Amy and Blair continue their planning of the next potluck. Mike and Brianna think about 8 a.m. classes on Monday morning, Steve has settled back into the evening, And we get set for the end of the semester, lots more events, trips, and functions, and rush off to study. (sorry to those whose picture we didn't get, but we'll get them next time)
