I. Call to Order: 3:35 by Matt Shesek, Secretary

II. Roll Call
    Matt Shesek, Jim Thomas, Ilana Demantas, Emily Recchia, Terrance
Hobson, Asafonie Obed, Cassie Pientak

III. Announcements (Jim Thomas, Faculty Advisor)

   A. Treasurer report: The balance in the TCF NIU-ACA account as of
      February 11 was: $473.31 with an additional $60 to be deposited next
      week. However, there remains one outstanding reimbursement check
      from December '09 yet to be paid for about $120.

   B. Summary of some events of Fall, 2009

V. New Business

   A. Selection of Meeting date: It was determined that the best meeting
      date would be: Last Thursday of every month at 3:30
      (and, as necessary before events)

   B. Fund raising:
      1. Two-day candy sale in DuSable (10 a.m. to 4 pm), Date to be
         determined
      2. T-shirts: J Thomas will start ball rolling

   C. Activities for spring/early summer:
      1. Stateville special tour
      2. Social service agences (poll NIU-ACA members)
      3. Potluck
      4. Meet with the UIC chapter for social activity
      5. Start thinking about the Chicago ACA conference
